New to the tournament schedule this year, the 1922 Memorial will honor a past member who truly embraced the spirit of Marshfield Country Club. This year’s honoree: Kevin Schiller.

Many would say MCC was Kevin’s second home. He played 87 rounds of golf there last year alone. Rain or shine, weekday or weekend — if the course was open, Kevin was probably on it. He and a good friend even pulled off the ultimate New England combo: skiing in Maine in the morning and getting in a round at MCC that same afternoon.

Kevin loved the game, the fresh air, and the competition. But more than anything, he loved spending time with family and good friends. MCC was where he caught up with old buddies, made new ones, and enjoyed plenty of friendly battles with his brothers and the rest of his crew.

In his memory, The Kevin Schiller Foundation will support causes close to his heart, including scholarships for graduating high school students, Medical Missions for Children, The River Fund Maine, and other organizations that reflect Kevin’s values.

As part of the tournament, $25 from each participant’s entry will be donated to the foundation.
